Offers a hot dinner and fellowship to local residents. Sponsored by the Pantry and local churches and organizations. All are welcome!
Monthly food box
Filled with community donations and USDA products to 400+ low-income Anderson County households.
Seniors food program
Provides a box of USDA food to residents 60 years of age and older. Application is required.
Last year Open Hands Food Pantry distributed more than 300,000 pounds of food to nearly 1,000 low-income families through our different targeted programs.
Emergency food
Food boxes and supplies distributed to families in crisis.
Veteran's assistance
We are now sponsoring a Veteran's Assistance Program, in cooperation with UK. This program provides food, medical assistance, haircuts, clothing and counseling services for veterans and their families in our community. Contact the Pantry to find out more.
